3 healthy Weeknight Recipes from Ayesha Curry’s new Cookbook

If you haven’t noticed, Ayesha Curry is killing it these days. Stephen Curry’s spectacular basketball wife has always had a lovely lifestyle blog, featuring recipes, videos, and very cute photos of sassy toddler Riley and baby sister Ryan. but lately, this smart and incredibly photogenic lady has been seriously stepping it up in the kitchen. She’s running a San Francisco pop-up restaurant with star chef Michael Mina. She’s launching a meal-delivery service for busy families. She’s signed on for a Food Network cooking show this fall.

And today, Curry is debuting her first cookbook. The Seasoned Life: Food, Family, Faith, and the delight of eating Well lets you step into the kitchen and cook at home with the Currys. Recipes reflect her rich cultural heritage, with Jamaican, African American, southern flavors. She is married to a professional athlete, and there are healthy touches, with smoothies, salads, and a few sneaky mother tactics, slipping seeds into batters, rolling chicken tenders in flax, or adding a handful of kale to a smoothie, to get kids (and husbands) to eat their greens. but there’s also a whole a lot of comfort Camiseta Selección de fútbol de Japón food, like her mama’s brown sugar chicken and her daddy’s meatloaf (best saved for special occasions). This is a collection of family favorites, with some sweet stories and memories in the mix.

With so numerous projects and a permanent courtside seat, it’s outstanding that Curry has time to feed a pro ball player and two lovable kids, even when their schedules get crazy. and she admits there are days when she feels lucky to just get a banana for lunch. “My husband and I are, after all, two young parents in our twenties just trying to figure it all out and, above all, make sure we raise our little family in a happy, healthy home full of faith and love,” says Curry.
